Derek Worthington, a native of Manchester in the north of England, began his artistic journey at an early age. After completing his formal education, he attended Manchester College of Art. He then embarked on a career in advertising, which took him to both London and Madrid, where he achieved significant success.

Upon retiring to Malaga, Derek reignited his passion for painting - a pursuit he had occasionally explored throughout his professional life. His work primarily focuses on landscapes, rendered in oil, acrylic, and watercolor, with occasional ventures into abstract construction. Derek's art has been exhibited in galleries in London, Marbella, and various locations along the coast, where he continues to captivate audiences with his unique style and creative expression.
